21 April 2010 –TOSHIBA TEC has today announced that they have supplied the BAFTA award winning television show, The X Factor with their portable label printer – the B-EP2. talkbackTHAMES who produce The X Factor will use the WiFi enabled B-EP2 printers to label the thousands of audition tapes and the kit needed for the audition tours, which will take place throughout the UK this summer.

Last year, thousands of hopefuls auditioned in front of the panel of celebrity judges for the chance to sing on the live shows and the opportunity to win The X Factor. Producers of the show, now in its 7th year, expect even more participants in 2010. The audition trail will take The X Factor team on a nationwide tour across the UK.

TOSHIBA TEC’s B-EP2 is designed to meet the needs of any mobile printing application, contemporary but rugged and reliable the printer has passed drop tests of 1.8 metres on to concrete.
